I visited Golden Garden Restaurant on Dominion Road on 8 July 2026 and ordered Seafood Tofu Hot Pot and half a Roast Duck. The hot pot arrived in a black clay pot, with golden tofu, seafood and vegetables topped with spring onion. The roast duck was served in chopped pieces with glossy brown skin, coriander and a dipping sauce on the side. Two classic Chinese dishes to share, and a restaurant I recommend.

Roast Duck (Half)
Price paid: $21.65
Half a roast duck, chopped and served with coriander and a dipping sauce. Price is approximately NZ$21.65, estimated as half of the NZ$43.30 menu price.
